Merle, working from her garage bought 50 place settings, and by 1991 had increased stock to 200 settings along with new premises in Sandton. The collection included designer linen, Noritake and Mikasa crockery. Over the years, Merle has nurtured her flourishing brainchild and groomed suitable people to carry the successful business where it is today.
