Merle brought Exclusive Hire to life in 1987, when she realized there was a gap in the market for the hiring of elegant crockery and cutlery. Merle, working from her garage bought 50 place settings, and by 1991 had increased stock to 200 settings along with new premises in Sandton. The collection included designer linen, Noritake and Mikasa crockery. Over the years, Merle has nurtured her flourishing brainchild and groomed suitable people to carry the successful business where it is today. Exclusive Hire is established as one of the leaders in the hiring industry, due to its unique blend of experience, flexibility and marketing. Exclusive Hire believes in value added service to its clients and puts the customer first by attending to every aspect of a function. As Merle comments “Every memorable occasion has to have a seeming effortlessness to it, which only means that each and every element to be precisely planned.” This exact approach is what sets Exclusive Hire apart from others. To inspire clientele, the showroom is constantly styled and updated, following hottest décor trends with hints of past glamour. Latest purchases of crisp linens, sublime toils are displayed, along side chairs, crystal glasses and elegant silver ware. Thus Exclusive Hire turns the ordinary into the spectacular. |
